Aurora claims the Skyesports Grand Slam title

Aurora secures a flawless tournament win

The Grand Final of the Skyesports Grand Slam 2024 between Gods Reign and Aurora began with a map pool mirroring their previous encounter. Kicking off on Gods Reign's chosen Ancient, Aurora held their own on the CT side, securing a 9-3 lead. Gods Reign once again failed to maintain their momentum on the CT side, as Aurora clinched the map 13-6.

Mirage, however, was an altogether different story compared to last time. Gods Reign looked prepared for Aurora's aggressive maneuvers, as they looked much more in control on their defensive. With f1redup and rev3nnnn stepping up, they established a 6-2 lead. However, Aurora once again turned the tides, securing 7 rounds in a row to lead 9-6, and ultimately sealed the deal with a 13-8 win.
