BuNTz cleared by Skyesports

Skyesports doesn’t have sufficient evidence

Following the Indian community’s uproar regarding Marcos Gaming and the accusations around their player BuNTz, Skyesports has provided an update regarding their investigation.

Initially Skyesports had said that they had taken necessary measures to make sure no wrongdoing was committed but yesterday Skyesports founder and CEO Shiva Nandy stated that they had roped in “industry specialists” to look into the matter.

Today following Skyesports Masters 2024 India Closed Qualifier Grand Final, which Gods Reign won, Skyesports has revealed that following a second investigation they don’t have “conclusive evidence to tie down the allegations to the player.”

BuNTz was accused of ID spoofing, which is handing his account to a second player to help their team do well given BuNTz’s poor individual form heading into the Skyesports Masters 2024 India Closed Qualifier. The player had one double digit kill map in the entirely of the Skyesports Grand Slam 2024 India Closed Qualifier.

Various players and teams from the community also have been vocal about the matter demanding a ban on the player and the team.
