Aurora starts Skyesports Masters 2024 with a clean win

OG drop to the lower bracket

The second game of the opening day of Skyesports Masters 2024 saw OG take on Aurora with MoDo standing in for regali, who was benched by OG shortly before the start of the game.

OG started Aurora's pick of Overpass with the CT-sided pistol but Aurora answered on the force and quickly ran away to a 7-2 lead. Aurora started with a big 8-4 lead but a crucial triple from F1KU in the second half pistol made sure OG were still alive. OG brought it to a one-round game at 7-8 but once Aurora got going on their CT side there was no stopping them as they eased to a 13-7 win.

Ancient started with a back and forth affair before Aurora stole away a round with nothing but pistols and one saved A1-S which helped them take a 7-5 lead on their CT side. A strong T side from Aurora saw a 1v2 from Norwi that put Aurora on match point and they closed it out at 13-9 to book a comfortable 2-0 series win.

Aurora, the Skyesports Grand Slam 2024 champions, now move to the upper semi-finals against FORZE while OG will take on ENCE in the lower bracket game.
