First European teams gets eliminated from Skyesports Masters 2024
After losing their opening games, ENCE and OG locked horns in the lower bracket to keep their tournament hopes alive. The BO3 kicked off on OG's pick Ancient, where the Poles overpowered OG, establishing a 9-3 lead. While OG fought back on their T-side, ENCE eventually managed to overcome the challenge, winning by a 13-11 margin.
The BO3 moved to Anubis, with ENCE taking on the defensive. The map kicked off in the favour of OG, as they secured the first three rounds. While ENCE came out on top in the first buy round, they could only manage 4 rounds in the half. Despite valiant efforts from ENCE, OG eventually closed out the map with a 13-10 scoreline.
The game progressed to the decider Vertigo, where ENCE kicked off their T-campaign by securing the opening two rounds. However, OG prevailed once the buy rounds unfolded, conceding only one more round in the half. Once the sides switched, it was ENCE who took control of the momentum initially tying the score at 11-11. However, it was OG who emerged victorious ultimately, sealing the map with a 13-11 win.
The loss sends gla1ve and his boys home from Skyesports Masters 2024 and after entering the event as the highest ranked team and one of the tournament favourites, this will be a disappointing result for the four-time Major winner and his squad.
