Aurora on top in the Russian derby
With a spot in the Grand Final awaiting both teams, Aurora and BetBoom went up against each other in the Skyesports Masters 2024 upper bracket final.
The action kicked off on Aurora's pick of Mirage with nafany and his boys taking the opening pistol on the CT side. Aurora started with a strong T side at 8-4 and wasted no time in wrapping up their map pick at 13-7 with Lack1 topping the scoreboards with 24 kills.
deko and KENSI made sure Aurora didn't let BetBoom run away with a big T sided lead on Anubis as Aurora started with 5 CT rounds on the most T-sided map in the current active duty pool. A strong T side from Aurora saw them close Anubis at 13-10 to secure a clean 2-0 series win.
While the win sees Aurora move into the Grand Final of the Skyesports Masters 2024, it's not over for BetBoom as they drop to the Consolidation final and will take on the OG, who had eliminated BIG earlier in the day.
