With IEM Chengdu 2024 running its course and FaZe emerging victorious after a series of second place finishes, Esports Charts took to X to announce that IEM Chengdu 2024 crossed a massive milestone.
The event had over 366,000 peak viewers, making it the most popular Counter-Strike event of all time on Asian soil. It came as no surprise that FaZe was the most popular team in the tournament with their games against MOUZ, Astralis and liquid drawing in over 366,000 viewers, 327,000 viewers and 321,000 viewers respectively.
IEM Chengdu 2024 brought in 7.6 million watch hours out of which FaZe accounted for over 3 million watch hours. The event had an airtime of over 50 hours with an average viewers count of 151,504.
