TjP put up a 1.63 HLTV rating across the series for Rooster

Rooster dominate Australian derby

KZG concede 0-2 series to Rooster at ESL Challenger Melbourne

After going down in their respective opening games, we had two Australian teams fighting for survival on the opening day of ESL Challenger Melbourne 2024.

chellos and asap hit the ground running to take Rooster off to a 4-0 start on the T-side of Inferno which KZG interrupted off of a solid A-site hold but that was the only round they could secure in the first half. Rooster's dominant showing on the T-side netted them a huge 11-1 half and eventually a 13-3 win to go 1-0 up in the series.

KZG started Anubis in a dominant fashion with pistol and anti-eco wins but a downhill tumble was right around the corner. Thereafter, KZG could not secure a single round throughout the map, netting Rooster a 13-2 win. With 20 frags to his name, TjP held a HLTV rating of 2.32 on Anubis with a colossal 135 ADR.

With back to back losses, KZG end their ESL Challenger Melbourne 2024 run at the bottom of Group B's points table. Rooster on the other hand are fighting for survival with their next elimination match against MIBR.
