BIG announce roster update for Brazy Party 2023

BIG have announced that Josef 'faveN' Baumann will skip the upcoming Brazy Party tournament and BIG Academy member David 'prosus' Hesse will step in for faveN.

BIG revealed that faveN would be missing the tournament due to his upcoming wedding celebration and prosus would fill in for the German rifler in the upcoming online tournament. The Brazy Party 2023 tournament gets underway from April 26, 2023 and the final will be held on May 3, 2023, and the tournament boasts of a prize pool of $330,000.

prosus standing in for the main BIG roster means, he will also reunite with his former BIG Academy members, Nils "⁠k1to⁠" Gruhne and Marcel "⁠hyped⁠" Köhn. prosus joined the BIG Academy since August 2019 and also spent time with with ALTERNATE aTTaX and fnatic Rising before returning to the BIG Academy in September 2021.

BIG are seeded in Group B for the Brazy Party tournament and have 00NATION, paiN and Into the Breach as the other members in the group.

BIG most recently made it to the quarter-finals of IEM Rio 2023, where they were beaten by eventual champions Vitality but had a tough time in the European RMR, failing to qualify for the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 and even failed to make to the BLAST Spring Final after losing to Cloud9 in the Spring Showdown finals.

BIG will hope they don't miss faveN's services too much, as he was BIG's second highest-rated player at IEM Rio 2023 behind Karim "⁠Krimbo⁠" Moussa, with a rating of 1.08.
