Copenhagen Flames' players involved in controversy
According to a source, the Copenhagen Flames CS:GO players had an idea about the company's financial woes and impending bankruptcy and looked out for themselves by raising their own sticker prices.
As per the source, the Flames' players re-bought their own stickers on the same day the Copenhagen Flames filed for bankruptcy. With the organisation shutting down, the value of the stickers would rise and the players would make money from the exaggerated prices since there won't be any more stickers coming from the organisation.
There has been no comment from the organisation or the players regarding the matter.
The Copenhagen Flames, one of Denmark's leading esports organisations when it came to player development, shut operations after their CEO Steffen Thomsen announced that they have filed for bankruptcy and laid off all their staff. The Flames became the second Danish organisation after Tricked, recently to shut operations.
