GamerLegion live to fight for another day

GamerLegion send MOUZ home

Heartbreak for dexter's men as they crash out of the Paris Major 2023

GamerLegion will fight on for another day as they took down MOUZ 2-0 in the elimination game with siuhy and his men sending MOUZ packing from the Paris Major 2023.

The first elimination match of the Challengers Stage kicked off on MOUZ's pick of Mirage with GamerLegion on the defensive half. xertioN's triple kill saw MOUZ secure the pistol and it was a clean conversion and a 1v1 clutch for torzsi that saw MOUZ build an early 3-0 lead on the T side. GamerLegion's in-game leader siuhy was the one who came in with a triple kill to see his team put up their first round in the fifth round. siuhy continued his dominance on the CT half as he came in with another quad-kill which eventually saw GamerLegion take the lead in the half at 5-4. A couple of crucial rounds from dexter, both with his fragging and calling and a 1v3 from frozen saw MOUZ end the first half at 7-8.

GamerLegion won the second pistol and acoR's triple kill against the force buy saw GamerLegion secure 10. A couple of multi-kill rounds from xertioN saw MOUZ bounce back to take the lead at 12-11 after taking five straight rounds. iM came in with a 1v2 clutch to tie back things for GamerLegion before siuhy got his own 1v2 clutch to retake the lead for his team. The two clutches broke MOUZ's economy which put GamerLegion on map point at 15-12. It was a quick B execute to close the map as GamerLegion won Mirage 16-12 with siuhy leading from the front with 24 kills.

siuhy was not only calling the shots but hitting them too on Mirage

The second map was GamerLegion's pick of Overpass and GamerLegion picked up the pistol. It was a 5-0 start for GamerLegion before MOUZ got their first round on the board and managed to put three in a row before three 1v1 clutches from acoR and Keoz(2) saw GamerLegion end the first half with a 11-4 lead. GamerLegion took both pistols on Overpass as they increased their lead to eight rounds. GamerLegion managed to close out the map at 16-5 quickly before MOUZ could manage a comeback. It was Keoz, acoR and iM who were on the top of the scoreboard for the Overpass map, with each of the three dropping 19, 18 and 17 kills respectively. acoR ended the series with 40 kills and a rating of 1.37.

acoR stepped up for GamerLegion to keep them alive in the Major

With the win GamerLegion keep their hopes alive as they go into the 1-2 bracket while unfortunately for MOUZ it is the end of the road in Paris, as they head home.
