ENCE's Major run comes to an end
NiP put up a clean 2-0 against ENCE on Mirage and Ancient, going up into the 2-2 pool with just another Bo3 standing between them and the playoffs
After what started as an evenly poised matchup on Mirage, ENCE started on the CT-side as the 1st half ended 7-8, with SunPayus putting his AWP into great use and NertZ trading back and forth. Unfortunately that was all ENCE could salvage, as NiP put up a flawless CT-side, with headtr1ck's AWP completely destroying ENCE. NiP closed out the match 16-7, building up incredible momentum to go into the 2nd map. The entire ENCE team put up 7 frags combined on the T-side of Mirage.
Carrying over the momentum Aleksib called a great CT-side on Ancient as NiP put up a monstrous 12-3 lead on their CT-side. k0nfig looked in great form which is good news for NiP going further in the tournament. Going into the 2nd half, NiP just ran through ENCE in the pistol round, setting up for a big win, tossing ENCE's economy into the bin.

Just as things looked done and dusted, Snappi, NertZ and SunPayus stepped up for ENCE stringing up 7 rounds in a row, building up a comeback but it was short-lived as REZ opened up A-site for NiP at 14-10, securing NiP's match point and wasted no time, closing out the map 16-10, just keeping their heads above the water. Brollan finished Ancient with 24 frags at an ADR of 100 and a HLTV rating of 1.45.
Everyone on NiP performed, dropping at least 30 frags with HLTV ratings in excess of 1.15. Aleksib and k0nfig's form could well be the difference maker for NiP going forward. Coming into the Legends Stage with a 3-0 in the Challengers Stage, ENCE crumbled as they exit the last CS:GO Major, going 1-3 in the Legends Stage.
