Liquid's Dallas campaign is over

nitr0's Liquid chapter ends with a loss

FaZe eliminate Liquid from IEM Dallas 2023

FaZe have kept themselves alive in Dallas after eliminating Liquid from IEM Dallas 2023. Liquid's loss means, it the end of nitr0's chapter with the team and most possibly the game. The former in-game leader leaves without having the opportunity to play in front of his home crowd.

nitr0 leaves Liquid as one of North America's most decorated players

The first map of the series was Liquid's pick of Anubis with FaZe starting on the T side. oSee and EliGE's double saw Liquid pick up the pistol. FaZe picked their first round on the back of a force buy. A broky triple on round four saw FaZe tie things up at 2-2. A Twistzz quad kill which saw FaZe convert a 2v4 against a force buy saw FaZe secure their fifth. A nitr0 double saw Liquid pick up their third round before an EliGE triple saw Liquid cut down FaZe's lead to one round. A YEKINDAR and nitr0 full house on the A site, post plant saw Liquid tie things back up at 5-5. broky's 1v3 saw FaZe retake the lead as the Latvian AWP-er came in with a clever clutch, singling out his duels. FaZe ended the first half with a 9-6 lead.

Liquid responded with a force buy which saw them pick up their seventh but FaZe answered back with a strong hold from ropz and Twistzz. nitr0's 1v1 against rain saw Liquid put up their eighth. After a period of both teams just trading rounds, FaZe put three together to get to 14. nitr0's 1v1 win against broky saw Liquid keep FaZe off map point but it was broky's triple that saw FaZe secure map point and FaZe picked up the first map at 16-11 with Twistzz on the top of the scoreboard with 29 kills and a 1.68 rating.

No mercy for his former team from Twistzz on Anubis

The second map was FaZe's pick of Nuke with Liquid on the defensive half. Liquid picked up the pistol and converted the following against the eco buy from FaZe. A Twistzz double in round three with the guns out gave FaZe their first round. Liquid's third came off the back off a full house from YEKINDAR and oSee. rain's 1v1 on the A site post plant against oSee helped FaZe put up their fifth which also broke Liquid's economy. karrigan's double saw FaZe end the opening half with a 9-6 lead.

broky was the star on Nuke with 22 kills

NAF won out a 1v1 against broky on time as Liquid picked up the second pistol and ropz clutched out a 1v2 which saw FaZe pick up the force buy as Liquid's sloppiness saw them having to concede two rounds after that on the force buy and eco. FaZe powered up to map point in no time and closed the map at 16-10 with FaZe picking up the map on a round with saved guns and upgraded pistols.
