MOUZ book their IEM Dallas 2023 finals spot
Dexter looked sharp on Vertigo, opening up A-ramp round after round for MOUZ and gunning down Heroic's defense. After a strong 3-0 start from MOUZ, Heroic came back with 3 of their own but that was almost all they could find, as Heroic struggled to keep up with MOUZ's pace, as dexter and xertioN put up a stellar performance and close out the 1st half 10-5 on Vertigo.
Heroic took the pistol round in the 2nd half, but MOUZ's defense was too daunting to overcome as dexter rode his momentum dropping 28 frags at an ADR of 106 and a brilliant HLTV rating of 1.82, closing out Vertigo, 16-8. Heroic looked lost on Vertigo with just sjuush securing a HLTV rating in excess of 1, meanwhile almost everyone from Mouz had a HLTV rating in excess of 1.

Going into Overpass, Heroic mirrored MOUZ's Vertigo performance, taking the first half 10-5, as TeSeS and sjuush come alive for Heroic with calculated T-side aggression. Heroic wasted no time in the 2nd half, stringing up 4 in a row right at the start, just a round away from match point.
MOUZ put up 4 of their own but Heroic come through in the end, neutralizing the series at 1-1. TeSeS and sjuush put up 22 frags a piece for Heroic and dexster, who fragged out for MOUZ earlier, got only 4 frags in the entire match.

Ancient was an entirely different affair as players from both sides displayed individual brilliance. Both teams traded rounds in the 1st half, ending it with a very close 7-8 score line but the 2nd half saw MOUZ run away with the match, reaching match point dropping just 2 rounds but stavn and TeSeS led the charge nearly mounting a comeback, but Heroic's stubborn force buys, would ultimately cost them the match. MOUZ closed out Ancient 16-14 and the series 2-1, eliminating Heroic.
frozen and torzsi looked laser sharp on Ancient, with torzsi going 6-0 in opening duels and frozen dropping 24 frags, as Heroic end their IEM Dallas journey, with MOUZ booking their first ever grand finals. stavn put up 23 frags for Heroic with a HLTV rating of 1.18.
