Astralis set to make further changes
Hours after parting ways with their Director of Sports Kasper Hvidt and Chief Analyst HUNDEN, reports suggest that Astralis have decided to bench their in-game leader gla1ve.
The Danish team is set to drop gla1ve from their roster and is also all set to announce the signing of Staehr, from Sprout, who has been on the Astralis radar for a while now. Staehr has been linked with a move to Astralis for a while now and Astralis even tried to sign the Sprout player earlier this year, when they were looking for a replacement for k0nfig. The team now has made successful inroads towards bringing the 18-year old to the squad.
As for gla1ve, this would mark the end of the decorated IGL's seven-year stint with the team, after he had joined the team back in 2017. gla1ve led the team to four Major trophies but the Danes' personal form has been poor for a while now and with already a potential replacement in blameF on the team, Astralis are looking for a serious overhaul to start the new era of CS2 strongly.
Official announcements regarding both changes are yet to be announced.
