"We grinded FACEIT for the entire night" - Ghostxd

Ghostxd stepped up for Reckonings Esports in their opening game

Inferno started well for you, you were taking control of different parts of the map early on. But later, the lead slipped through your fingers and Medal Esports (ME) managed to make an attempt to come back. What went wrong?

We mostly had man advantages on the rounds we lost. But it was kind of like a mis com that we had and our team basically fumbled a little bit. But we still managed to get our rounds back on the T side and we kept our mental strong.

What was the game plan going forward on Inferno? You were constantly taking control of different parts of the map which netted you a 7-0 lead.

Every round, we tried all of our aggressive options. And it was working for us and we didn't have a reason to not do it. Except on the anti-ecos ofcourse. So the entire plan was just to be aggressive.

You personally had a lights-out performance. What went well for you?

Honestly, my shots just connected today man. That's about it, to be honest.

On Ancient you looked well prepared. You had a game plan for every round. How did you prepare for the map?

On the T side, the thing is, our team formed a day ago. So dumping all the information at once and try to learn things was difficult, especially in a short span of time.

How many scrims did you play?

Scrims, we played none. If anyone wants to know, we just played Faceit pugs and we just grinded on FACEIT for the entire night, like 5 AM in the morning.

Do you think Medal Esports were caught unprepared on Ancient?

I don't think it was their strongest map. Because we always knew what they were doing on the map. I think we just caught them with their pants down.
