"He is a beast!" - vel0city on Hattyg0D with the AWP

After scaling a handsome comeback and posting a convincing 2-0 win against Medal Esports, we got a chance to talk to Enigma Gaming's star rifler, vel0city.

You have started off with two 2-0s, how is the environment in the camp?

"Its really good, we have become really close friends. We have been here only for 10 days and have done a lot of things in and out of the game. We practice well and go out, we have international players, they are trying our food and it is funny sometimes"

Medal Esports had quite a lead, what were the comms and how did you recover?

"The game was pretty shaky for us at the begining. They (Medal Esports) had a semi-pug-ish approach, they were just flashing monster and coming in. We had to adjust to that, we got 5 in that half and we are really confident in our T-side. We believe in our IGL, yourwombat is a super hardworking guy and prepares all the strategies. Even at 0-6 we were just laughing it off, you win some, you lose some, it happens."

Who lifts up the team when you're going through a bad phase?

"Everyone steps up in that department, we're all happy people and no one goes like "OH MY GOD, YEH KYA HOGAYA" (OH MY GOD, WHAT HAS HAPPENED). We have no shortage in the hype department!

Hattyg0D was brilliant on the CT-side AWP on Inferno, can you talk on that?

"Yeah, Hatty stepped up. The 1st game that he played, he was nervous because of the boot camp and everything but once he got adjusted he was just banging with that awp, especially the shots he hit in pit! (Inferno). We don't see delay in his shots, he is really fast, individually- he is a beast."
