EliGE shines in debut win over Ninjas In Pyjamas
Complexity's massive off-season move to sign the Liquid legend EliGE looks to be working as they take down the new-look NIP in a 2-1 series.
The match started on Inferno, coL's worst map by win rate. And judging by their start, it looked like a mis-pick as k0nfig shut down their attack across the board to put the Ninjas up 5-1. coL eventually adapted and lead his team to a tied 6-6 game. But in the end, they lost to an eco-buy from NIP, giving the Swedes the lead at 8-7.
hampus was largely missing in the first half but popped off in the second half to extend his team's lead. A streak of force buys and half buy from Complexity applied pressure to dJl's troops, and they eventually tied the game once again. Grim had a key round to pick up 14 for the team, but they dropped yet another anti-eco as NIP won the map 16-14.
Over on Nuke, NIP started down 0-4, before k0nfig and REZ went massive to keep the game neck and neck at 7-8. Complexity took both pistol rounds of the map, however, to get a strong 11-7 lead. But NIP's Dane returned to crackdown the coL attack and tie the game up 11-11. This time, however, Complexity took control of the last few rounds, with EliGE topping the board at 25 frags.

Finally, on Overpass, the NA side was confident thanks to both JT's crew and EliGE being comfortable on the map historically. Early on, NIP was in control with an 8-3 lead, but EliGE rallied his troops to get the half back to nearly level. NIP had another great half-start but Complexity came through once again, showing great resilience to sweep through the last few rounds and take the win 16-13.
