"We know what works for us now" - godvexy
After a close 2-1 loss to Revenant Esports, Medal Esports now find themselves at 0-6, and we got a chance to talk to godvexy from Medal Esports, here's what he had to say.
You reached 14 on Inferno but fell short, what happened there?
"We need to work on closing out maps, we worked on it and closed out the 2nd map. We're getting better day by day and we still have a lot of hurdles to overcome, everyone knows that our main player from the main five (Tony) isn't here yet. We're adjusting and improving day by day and we know we'll win the next few series."
Basically a flawless T-side on Nuke, can you talk us through that?
"After the first map we knew what we did wrong and we had a mental reset. Everyone was on their A-game and calling whatever their plays, it did work out, we know what works for us now and we have a map in our bag, we'll continue to do that."
Great 6-0 start on Overpass but failed to close it out, can you talk about that?
"Things were working out initially on our T-side, we were 6-0 up and we had a few unlucky rounds on both sides. On the CT-side we could've hit some shots that we didn't and it would've been a different result. We're really disappointed because we know we could've won but there are a lot of positives to take from this match."
