Velocity Gaming started off on the T-side of Inferno taking the pistol round and the anti-eco and for the entirety of the 1st half, both teams traded rounds back and forth, ending the half at an even 7-8. Velocity Gaming again got off to a good start on the 2nd half but were stopped in their tracks as Medal Esports kept catching up every time they took a lead.
The score was levelled at 11-11, after which Medal Esports switched up the pace and close out Inferno 16-12, going 1-0 up in the series. It was Syahhftw again with a lights-out performance for Velocity Gaming with 28 frags on Inferno, despite which they could not close out the map.
Ancient was again a repeat of Inferno with the both teams trading rounds the entire 1st half, ending it at an even 7-8. Medal Esports start off the 2nd half with a 3-round streak on their CT-side, off the back of which they reach 13-8, on the brink of closing out the map. Velocity Gaming put up 4 of their own, closing the gap, looking to push the series into the decider, but Medal Esports, secured match point at 12-15. Velocity Gaming closed the gap again, tying it up at 15-15 and forcing the map into overtime.
Medal Esports secured a flawless CT-side and the match point along with it. Medal Esports shortly closed out the map 19-16 and the series 2-0, securing their first win of the tournament, 7 matches in. Meanwhile, Velocity Gaming are yet to open their account as their campaign reads 0-7 in the scorecard.
