"There's something amazing about this team" - KiiLSwitCh

Marcos Gaming concede 2-1 series to Gods Reign

After a 2-1 win against Marcos Gaming, Gods Reign have confirmed their spot in the LAN playoffs. In the series that was played across 3 maps, Gods Reign reverse swept after crushing defeat on the first map. After the match we got a chance to talk to KiiLSwitCh and here's what he had to say about the match.

Can you talk us through Overpass? Things got a little out of hand.

"I think it's the third time we picked Overpass and our T-side was in shambles. I don't know, every time we talk about playing Overpass and we need to practice more and play a lot of scrims in Overpass and try to fix our mistakes."

You went for a mental reset and took Vertigo, can you talk about that?

"There's something amazing about this team, like even if we lose a map or something, we're always good to each other. We argue and stuff but once the map ends, we go out to the balcony and talk it out. We'll try to think of it as 2 Bo1s and try to win 1 round at a time and today especially, I think this mindset helped us a lot in the comeback."

Returned the favor on Inferno, can you talk about that?

"I think everybody did a great job, like crazy (Crazy_Gamer) and Ph1NN on Banana or myself who was very active in A-apartments. We knew what has happening around the map and they weren't contesting us enough in the mid-rounds. We got a lot of space that we shouldn't have and I think that is why we won the game. Everybody was playing together and playing trades, so that worked out well."

Now that you've confirmed your Playoffs spot, what are your plans from here?

"I think there's a good lunch, I'm going to eat Biriyani. I'm gonna enjoy to meal and everybody will probably relax, take the day off and no one's probably going to play CS for the day. We'll just talk, watch a movie and chill together. For the LAN, I think we will be able to fix our mistakes on Overpass or any map in general and hopefully we continue this rich form, making the best out of it."
