The second match of Day 1 of Skyesports Souvenier Indin Qualifiers took us to a matchup between Revenant Esports and Marcos Gaming. Both teams featured new faces, with Marcos bringing in Rossi and DiceDealer while Revenant incorporated Shandearez and CycloneF into their new roster. With Marcos Gaming picking up Mirage and Revenant deciding upon Nuke as their pick, Inferno was left as the decider.
As Mirage kicked off, it became apparent that it would be a very tight game. First, it was RE to pick up the pistol, turning around a 3v5. They stretched their lead to 3-0, without facing much resistance on the way. However, MG came with a swift response in the 4th round and then secured the 2v2 in the following round to close the gap to 2-3. RE refused to give up the momentum to the other team, as they clinched one back with just meager tec-9s. Both teams engaged in a fierce battle, with neither letting the other strung multiple rounds. However, closing the half by claiming the final three rounds gave RE a 9-6 lead.

The second half got underway on a great note for RE as they secured the pistol and the conversion. However, in an unlikely turn of events, MG tuned around a 3v5 with just Desert Eagles to post their first. Unfortunately for them, they failed to get going on the T-side. With the latest addition CycloneF showcasing stellar form, RE posed a rock-solid defense in the second half. The man of the hour scored 23 kills, boasting an ADR of 105, as RE closed out the game 16-7, only concerning a single round in the entirety of the second half.
The second map took us to Nuke, where RE secured a 3v2 retake to confirm the pistol win. Shutting down the game plan of the Terrorists expertly, the CTs climbed to a flawless 5-0 lead. MG fought back, taking the score to 7-6 after a few exchanges of rounds. However, it was Gump who was the difference maker for the side of RE. A turret on the defense, he racked up 16 kills, as RE clinched the final two rounds of the half to finish on a 9-6 score line after their CT side.
MG looked tenacious at the outset of the second half on Nuke, as they dominated in the first two rounds, closing the gap to 9-8 in the process. However, once the gun rounds unfolded, the dynamics shifted dramatically. RE became unstoppable, stringing together 4 rounds in a row, with shandarez standing out with his impact kills. However, inches away from defeat, MG woke up in time. With Rossi nearing the 30-kills mark, MG managed to close out the gap to 14-13. In an intense 28th round, Gump pulled out 3 crucial kills, as RE found an upset with their aggressive tec-9s. While MG did well to shut down the Terrorists in the 29th round, forcing them to an abysmal buy, they fumbled the final round, conceding Nuke with a 16-14 score line.
