MOUZ show heart to make finals

MOUZ extract revenge for IEM Dallas 2023 Grand Final

The second semifinal of the ESL Pro League Season 18 saw a rematch of IEM Dallas 2023 as ENCE took on MOUZ with MOUZ hoping to extract revenge.

Things kicked off on MOUZ's pick of Mirage and it was a Snappi double opener from Short saw ENCE take the opening pistol starting on the T side. ENCE started with two CT rounds before MOUZ charged at them and with siuhy calling instant hits, Once MOUZ got going, it was all MOUZ as they closed the half with a 10-5 lead. xertioN's double opener helped MOUZ take the second pistol and were 12-5 up before a NertZ 1v2 in a post plant on the A site saw ENCE get their first T side. ENCE pulled it back to 13-14 but a brawl on B short ended with frozen's 1v2 to put MOUZ on map point. MOUZ made sure ENCE's comeback attempt was denied as they won Mirage 16-13 with torzsi and xertioN topping the scoreboard with 29 and 23 kills respectively.

ENCE had no answer to torzsi's AWP

NertZ kicked off ENCE pick's of Vertigo with a quad kill on the pistol. It was a back and forth half with both teams trading rounds one after the other and it took a Maden quad kill in the very final round of the half that saw ENCE stay in the game at 6-9. SunPayus' triple opener gave ENCE the second pistol as well and they were quick to capitalise to take the lead. It was the NertZ and SunPayus duo who stepped up on the T side, which saw ENCE drop only 2 T rounds to pick up Vertigo at 16-11.

ENCE got the series decider of Nuke underway with a T side win. ENCE got a 2-0 start before an xertioN quad kill in a full eco saw siuhy and his boys get their CT side started. MOUZ tied the game at 2-2 before SunPayus opened up the A site with a TEC-9 double on a force buy to see ENCE retake the lead. After the initial brawling, MOUZ ran away with the half to take at 11-4 lead.

A bursting onto the A site to secure the second pistol MOUZ closed Nuke at 16-7 with Jimpphat closing out the map with a 1v2. It was torzsi once again leading from the front with 24 kills.
