Rare Atom hangs on to take down GR Gaming

Rare Atom move onto the semi-final of the ESL Challenger Jonköping 2023: Asian Open Qualifier

The first quarter-final of the ESL Challenger Jonköping 2023: Asian Open Qualifier saw Rare Atom's new roster take on GR Gaming.

The BO1 got underway on Ancient with Rare Atom starting on the CT side. It was a 4-0 start from Rare Atom before GR could get their first T round but it was a one-sided half which saw Rare Atom take a 10-2 lead, with somebody closing the half with a 1v3 on an MP9.

GR kicked off the second half with six in a row before Rare Atom could finally get a T round, but once they found their footing, they managed to close out the map at 13-9 to move onto the semi-finals of the Rare Atom move onto the semi-final of the ESL Challenger Jonköping 2023: Asian Open Qualifier.

Rare Atom will now face GEUD in the semi-finals.
