TSM outlast B8 to secure a Final Spot

TSM will now face Aurora in the Finals of the EU Closed Qualifiers

As we enter the third day of the Skyesports Championship 5.0 Europe Closed Qualifier, we turn our attention to the second match featuring TSM and B8. With both teams securing one win each, the victor of this clash will secure the second spot in the final, facing Aurora tomorrow. The ultimate winner of the final match will earn their place in the LAN Finals held in Mumbai.

The match between B8 and TSM began on Mirage, with TSM choosing this map and B8 starting as the CT. TSM faced an initial 0-2 deficit but managed to win the first buy round. However, B8 continued their dominant performance as CT, rising to a 10-1 lead. A double kill from Valde, who took his personal tally to 11 kills in the first half, allowed TSM to enter the second half with two rounds on the scoreboard.

In the second half, TSM started strong by winning the first two rounds, narrowing the score to 10-4. Nevertheless, just as in the first half, the first buy round went the way of the Terrorists. TSM continued to fight, closing the gap to 11-6. However, after B8 reached match point at 12-6, they ultimately sealed the game with a final score of 13-9.

The second map took us to Ancient, where the international roster kicked off by establishing a commanding 7-1 lead. However, B8 found their momentum in the dying moments of the first half, securing the final 4 rounds. However, with still a long way up ahead of them, B8 crumbled on their CT side. On the other hand, Cypher led the charge for TSM, collecting 20 kills to push TSM over the line with a 13-6 scoreline.

After leveling the series, the BO3 moved on to Inferno. B8 started strong by gaining a strong 3-0 start. TSM fought back, leveling the score at 3-3. The half continued to be a close contest but ended with B8 securing 7 rounds on their T-side. However, once TSM got their chance at aggression, they became unstoppable. With every individual contributing to the fragging department, they didn't concede a single round in the second half, winning Inferno 13-7.
