BoombI4 returns to team up with electroNic and Perfecto

Former NAVI IGL steps in for sh1ro

Cloud9 have announced that BoombI4 will be standing-in for sh1ro for the Thunderpick World Championship 2023, after the young AWPer decided to step down from the active roster.

This is the first time since his Natus Vincere (NAVI) contracted ended in January 2023, that BoombI4 returns to a tier-1 team. BoombI4 has been with 1WIN since February 2023 and with him standing-in for sh1ro, BoombI4 will be reunited with his former NAVI teammates, electroNic and Perfecto, who joined the team earlier this year.

The move however means that Cloud9 will be playing without a dedicated AWP-er.

With BoombI4 standing-in for sh1ro, the Cloud9 roster for the Thunderpick World Championship 2023 is as follows:

  • HObbit

  • electroNic

  • Perfecto

  • Ax1Le

  • BoombI4

  • groove (coach)
