Wasted Potential and plusW1 secure spots in Skyesports 5.0 playoffs

The third day of the Open Qualifiers saw the semi-finals take place. In the first semi-final, Team Respect took on plusW1, while in the second semi-final, Wasted Potential locked horns with ROG Acadmey.

Team Respect vs plusW1 (1-2)

The first semi-final saw Team Respect take on Executables. Team Respect has faced relatively minimal resistance so far in the tournament. After getting a bye in the opening round against Team 1BotzEz, they had to overcome DARK ESPORTS and Revenge Esports, as they got a bye against Executables in the Quarter-Final. On the other hand, plusW1 had to overcome iYATi, 2EZ Gaming, and Revenge Esports after getting a bye against INVASION ESPORTS. After a grueling 3-map series, it was plusW1 who emerged as the victors.

Wasted Potential vs ROG Academy (2-1)

The second final took us to an intense showdown between Wasted Potential and ROG Academy. Getting to the semi-final has been a long journey for both teams. ROG Academy overcame SlowAimers, IKARI, Team Wingroves and Fidato five, while Wasted Potential had to get past Retaliation, 4ever cool, PiroShooters, and Water5 eSports.
