FaZe take down Ninjas in Pyjamas
After trading out initial rounds, Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) collapsed on the T-side of Vertigo. FaZe put up a stellar CT-side with rain dropping 15 frags at an ADR of 129 in the half to secure a huge 10-2 lead.
NiP took the pistol round to start off the second half and strung up 3 rounds in a row but FaZe eventually closed out the map 13-6, going 1-0 up in the series.
FaZe got off to a 4-1 start on the T-side of Nuke but the k0nfig-REZ duo pulled things back for NiP on the CT-side, keeping the half competitive at 7-5. Dropped just a single round in the second half, FaZe secured match point at 12-6. NiP clawed back a few rounds but again, FaZe closed out the map 13-9.
Twistzz fragged out for FaZe on Nuke, dropping 21 frags with a HLTV rating of 1.59. With this win, FaZe now advance to the upper-bracket finals.
