Complexity sends NAVI home
The second Quarter Final between Complexity and NAVI got underway on NAVI's map pick of Anubis. They started their T-side by securing the opening 5 rounds. As the half got to an end, NAVI found themselves at a 9-3 lead. Winning the second pistol and force buy as well saw NAVI extend their lead to 11-3. While Complexity fought back by narrowing the lead to 10-12, NAVI managed to shut down Complexity on the first map by a 13-10 scoreline.
Next up was Complexity's map pick, Overpass. While NAVI once again secured the pistol round, taking their overall tally to 3 in the series, Complexity bounced back on their buy rounds. They established an eight-round streak before NAVI could get another CT round on the board.
As a result, Complexity switched sides with a 9-3 lead. NAVI once again prevailed in the pistol round, adding two more rounds to take the score to 6-9. However, Complexity stopped them in their tracks, stringing together 4 rounds in a row to secure Overpass 13-6.
The decider was Nuke, with Complexity starting as CT and NAVI as T. Complexity finally managed to win the pistol round, giving way to a 2-0 start. While NAVI strung together 4 rounds in a row starting from the buy round, Complexity sealed the half by claiming a 7-5 half. NAVI tied the score quickly, winning the second pistol and extending the lead to 8-7. While NAVI was in the driving seat to seal the series, Complexity found their momentum towards the end, turning it around to win Nuke 13-10.
Complexity will now play the semi-final of BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023 against FaZe.
