ESL Impact Desk turns the heat up on Bleh
Veteran of the Indian CS scene, Bleh came under fire during a desk segment following the beatdown that HSG handed to FlyQuest RED. On the desk were host Sam "Tech Girl" Wright, and her two analysts, Sudhan "Bleh" Wahengbam, Hege "Hedje" Botnen.
Following the match which included a brutal 2-13 loss for FlyQuest on their own map pick, Bleh pointed out that FlyQuest failed to deliver on their immense potential from the online league. This comment was like a burning match to a firecracker as Hedje immediately lost her temper.
Can't you just leave the studio? I don't appreciate that. These FlyQuest RED girls have been fighting their f*****g brains out all season and been flawless in North America, and because they can't get their nerves under control on LAN, you just screw them out of nowhere.
Go! You can go out and play. Go out and feel what it's like, says Hedje and points out of the studio.
I don't think you know what you're talking about. They should be celebrated.
The outburst also seemed to come as a surprise to Bleh, who had to extricate himself from the discussion. Hedje was not present on the broadcast for the Finals day with Tilde '7licious' Byström joining Bleh on the desk.
There has been significant discussion in the Twitter-sphere over this outburst with most of the community praising Bleh's professionalism in such a situation. Some are wondering if it's a ruse similar to Kassad's EG skit back at Katowice, but with her removal from the broadcast, that seems quite unlikely.
Hedje has still refrained from commenting on the situation, but veterans of the broadcast have Tweeted out advising her to do a public apology and explain her thought process in the situation in order to prevent it from becoming a lasting mark on her incredible body of work as both a talent as a former professional player.
