Mirage was the battleground once again and it was an inch-perfect B retake from Griffins to give the Indian team the opening pistol on their CT side. Wah Wah answered back with a force buy and went on a five round streak before Griffin got their second defensive round. Wah Wah ended the half with an 8-4 lead.
SHATT3R held on in a scary 1v1 to give the Indian team both pistols on Mirage and started with three in a row before Wah Wah got their first CT round. Griffins answered back and quickly tied the game at 9-9. After trading rounds, a triple from s4dd saw Wah Wah secure map point. With Wah Wah losing a player in the very final round of regulation to technical issues, Griffins managed to take the game to overtime converting their 5v4 advantage.
Even with 4 players in the server, Wah Wah secured the opening round of overtime thanks to a 0Kay quad kill from inside Apps. 0Kay's multi-kills helped including an incredible 1v2 saw Wah Wah take it to second overtime.
Griffins started second OT with a CT-sided round win before the TO, who was also casting, revealed on the live stream that the tournament does not allow multiple OTs hence the match ended in a draw at 15-15.
After speaking to those involved, Dust2 India learnt that after the opening day's game between Aimstars and unfazed which Aimstars won 16-13, the organisers had decided to keep only a single overtime.
The draws sees Griffins and Wah Wah share 5 points each and while Griffins sits on top of Group 4 with 33 points from 3 games, Wah Wah are third with 15 points from 2 games.
