BLAST's India vs Pakistan showmatch now official

Earlier today, BLAST took to X to announce the show match for the BLAST Premier World Final 2023. The show match sees Indian team True Rippers taking on Wah Wah. a Pakistani team. The showmatch comes celebrates The Draft's launch.

Previously, Marcos Gaming had won DreamHack Hyderabad 2023 after which, NODWIN hinted at a BLAST World Final 2023 appearance. The lineup now dawning the True Rippers jersey will take stage at the World Final to battle it out against historic rivals. The showmatch is scheduled for December 17, 2023.

The showmatch will give the players an opportunity to play alongside and against few of the best players in the circuit. Two BLAST Premier players will be drafted on either side through fan votes.

In BLAST's announcement, Akshat Rathee, the co-founder and managing director of NODWIN Gaming has described their partnership with BLAST as "a conscious effort to reenergise the local Counter-Strike scene and elevate the esports landscape across India and Pakistan."
