$100 Million+ turnover from Paris Major stickers
As reported on HLTV, sources say that the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 was the most successful one when it came to sticker sales. The sale of stickers alone amounted to a whopping $110 Million USD.
Counter-Strike 2’s announcement and arrival in early 2023 led to an influx of new and returning players, tearing up concurrent and average player records. The game averaged over a million players in May and June while the Paris Major stickers were on sale in the home page.
The revenue from a team sticker capsule sale is divided equally between the 8 teams in the capsule and the revenue from a player autograph sticker capsule is divided equally between the 40 players in the capsule.
Contenders capsules were the most happening ones netting roughly $4.5 million USD per team and $250,000 USD per player. Despite a comparatively lesser turnover, the Legends and Challengers capsules made big banks too.
