True Rippers triumph Masters #6

However, the narrative changed quickly in the second half, as GrayFox looked more in control after switching to the T-side. With Nox fragging like a maniac, GrayFox dominated heavily over the CTs. As a result, they only conceded a single round and got the first map under their belt with a 13-7 score.
Next up was GrayFox's map pick of Vertigo. This time around, True Rippers felt more comfortable on the CT side. They kicked things off with a fiery 7-0 start. As the half came to an end, GrayFox could only manage 3 rounds to their name. Despite losing the pistol, True Rippers turned the tides by winning the force buy round, and sprang to matchpoint at 12-4. Unforeseeably, GrayFox went on a 6 round spree to narrow the lead to 12-10. While it was looking like the game may head to OT, True Rippers sealed the deal at 13-10.
The decided map took us to Overpass, where True Rippers once against started as the CTs. Despite losing the pistol, True Rippers nothced the buy round and built an early 8-1 lead. Towards the end of the first half however, GrayFox found success, and ended with a defendable score of 9-3. However, they failed to get hold of the momentum at the start of the second half by losing the pistol. As a result, True Rippers closed the map 13-3.
