FIREDUP Gaming shuts down 2ez Gaming with ease
The final game of the opening day of The Draft's Indian Group Stages saw the two teams who booked their spot in the Group Stages from the Open Qualifiers in action as FIREDUP Gaming took on 2ez Gaming. FIREDUP Gaming picked Inferno in the veto which left Nuke as the decider in the BO2 series.
FIREDUP Gaming started with the T sided pistol after waltzing into a practically empty B site. FIREDUP ran away with the half, starting with a 7-0 lead before 2ez got their first CT round. It was all FIREDUP though, as they ended the half with a 10-2 lead.
FIREDUP continued their dominance by taking the second pistol as well and comfortably closed it at 13-2.
2ez Gaming got Nuke underway with a 3-0 lead, starting on the T side. FIREDUP Gaming though bounced back incredibly once they got their CT side going, ending with an 8-4 lead with N1kace and ChAmP having a stellar half.
FIREDUP secured the second half pistol on Nuke to share the pistols on the map and closed out the map at 13-7 to secure a comfortable 2-0 series win.
The win gives FIREDUP Gaming two points, while 2ez Gaming are yet to open their account after the opening day.
