VRN take down Paradox
After trading initial rounds VRN's CT-side came alive, stopping Paradox in their tracks to push them down to a 2-10 disadvantage in the first half. Paradox secured their CT-side pistol round by the skin of their teeth.
VRN kept their damages to a minimum and closed out Mirage 13-4, conceding just a couple of rounds in the second half. Kriminal and Abdur posted ADRs in excess of 100 for VRN on Mirage.
Paradox won the pistol round on their T-side to start off Nuke but fumbled the anti-eco, off the back of which VRN locked down a solid CT-side with Abdur and Tranz leading the charge. VRN secured a 9-3 CT-half, just 4 rounds away from wrapping the series.
Taking the second half's pistol, Paradox won all four pistol rounds of the series but it was the conversion where they struggled. Ayaan put up a strong CT-side performance for Paradox, stringing up five rounds but VRN still closed out Nuke 13-8 to wrap up the series 2-0.
With this win VRN have levelled their playing field with 2 wins and 2 losses in the series so far, meanwhile Paradox find themselves towards the bottom end of the table having won just a single match out of their five.
