Gods Reign end True Rippers win streak

After initial trades, Gods Reign's T-side on Mirage derailed, courtesy of a masterful CT-side performance by DEFAULTER and Mcg1LLzZz. From 2-2, Gods Reign fell to a significant 10-2 disadvantage. Gods Reign could not redeem themselves in the second half, as True Rippers closed out Mirage 13-2.

It was just clouda who crossed double figures on the Gods Reign side of things at 15 frags and the rest of the team never really showed up on Mirage.

The second map took us to Nuke where DiceDealer opened up outer round after round, giving True Rippers a 6-1 start on the T-side. Gods Reign locked a strong defense to net four rounds in a row but eventually ended the half with a 4-8 disadvantage.

Gods Reign found their footing on the T-side, pushing True Rippers to the limits and levelling the score at 11-11. Everyone from Gods Reign stepped up, mounting a comeback to overtake True Rippers and secure the match point at 12-11.

Despite securing a big lead, True Rippers let things slip through as Gods Reign brought their A-game to Nuke, closing it out 13-11 and drawing the series 1-1.

True Rippers suffer their maiden map loss in the series sitting on top of the ladder at 7-1 and Gods Reign are right behind them with four wins and two losses.
