Grayfox Esports edge out Drippy Lab
Starting off on the T-side of Inferno, Grayfox Esports got off to a great start with Marzil and Nox finding form right away, keeping Drippy Lab at bay. Drippy Lab could only secure three rounds on their T-side, conceding a 3-9 disadvantage in the first half, as they lacked individual performances.
After winning the second half’s pistol round, Grayfox Esports gambled a four-man A-stack, costing them the anti-eco. Grayfox found it difficult to get a read on Drippy Lab’s T-side, as the Ts closed in on the lead. The second half saw everyone from Drippy Lab step up with impact, something that they lacked earlier on.
Nox clutched out a 1v1 on the B-site to give Grayfox their match point at 12-9 but their economy took a hit and they could afford little to no utility in the upcoming round. Despite the shortage of utility, Grayfox held the line and closed out Inferno 13-9, halting Drippy Lab’s comeback efforts.
