EmbeR: "Just played my game and it worked"

With a dominant 2-0 victory, Marcos Gaming have secured their upper bracket finals spot against True Rippers. EmbeR had a great individual game on Inferno In a chat with him after the match, he revealed how he approached Inferno.

I approached it just like any other match. We do the same things, sometimes we have insane games and sometimes not so much. It all comes down to the averages. I had nothing special in mind, just played my normal game and it worked out well for me.

When asked about sharing the stage with shox, EmbeR spoke about how the team benefits from his knowledge and experience. He spoke about how he brings a fresh perspective. Ember praised show's temperament and approach towards the game.

shox is really good, very smart and it shows that he has a lot of experience when talking to him. He told us a lot of things that were not really new to us but gave us a new perspective of looking at things. He's a chill guy overall, likes to joke a lot and we're really comfortable with him.

Speaking about the first map, EmbeR said that the team's chemistry played a big part in the victory and the overall calling was on point, making the CTs rotate constantly.

We were just better as a team, we were coordinated and did the basics right. We made them rotate a lot and just hit the other side of the map. There was a crucial 2v3 which me and Bhavesh (Bhavi) pulled off, that gave us a big boost. Our individuals stepped up time and time again with big impact.
