Bhavi on donk: "He might be more talented than ZywOo"

As the dust settles on an incredible IEM Katowice 2024 which saw Team Spirit triumph after taking down FaZe 3-0 in the Grand Final, the Counter-Strike world also got to witness the rise of a new superstar - donk.

At 17, donk took home the IEM Katowice MVP trophy and ended the event with an incredible 1.70 rating over 12 maps (main event). His worst map rating in Katowice was 1.20 against TheMongolz. In the Grand Final itself, donk ended with an astounding 1.93 rating with an ADR of 124.

• A debut to remember

IEM Katowice 2024 was donk's first ever Big Event and in his debut event his rating of 1.70 stands as the best, tied with NiKo's 1.70 rating at ESL One New York 2017. The numbers put up by the young Russian is unprecedented and it is highly unlikely we see anyone touch those numbers in the near future.

The youngster as an opener was also head and shoulders above everyone else, posting a rating of 1.77 with EliGE next with 1.35 rating.

donk also is the youngest ever Katowice winner and the youngest Big Event MVP, according to HLTV.
