TheMongolz book RMR upper-bracket finals
Despite the team-kill in the very first round of the match, TheMongolz managed to maneuver their way around Grayhound’s CT-side to steal an early 6-2 lead on the T-side of Ancient. Grayhound’s mid aggression was punished round after round, putting them at a 3-9 disadvantage in the first half.
Grayhound’s last hope was to secure the T-side pistol and stitch a few rounds off of that but a 1v1 saw Bltz coming out on top, taking away Grayhound’s comeback hopes.
A bonus round aggression from TheMongolz nearly stole Grayhound’s first gun round but Grayhound managed to hold their ground and added another to their tally. On the verge of a total reset, TheMongolz reached match point at 12-4 off of a poor read from Grayhound where they hit a stacked B-site.
Always a step ahead, TheMongolz closed out Ancient 13-4, booking their upper-bracket finals and sending Grayhound down to the lower-bracket.
