device takes over as Astralis IGL

After spending nearly an year in the academy roster for Astralis, br0 went to Monte for a brief stint and has now been picked up again by Astralis but for the main roster this time. br0's signing also comes with the news that their current IGL, BlameF has been benched.

Astralis have tossed the leadership hat to another one of their star players, device. The star Danish AWP has reportedly chimed in as a second voice for Astralis on many occasions and will now officially take over leadership responsibilities for the first time.

On a lighter note, the community speculates if an AWP in the IGL role is what it takes for stavn and jabbi to return to their former glory and light up the server. Kasper Straube, the Sports Director for Astralis described br0 as a player who can "create space for the other four to move into their favorite positions".

In his statement, device talks about his excitement towards this new chapter of his career and sees himself in those shoes for the long run.
