Xyp9x leaves Astralis

After an impressive eight-year stint with Astralis which saw him win 4 Majors and a host of other trophies, Xyp9x has parted ways with the organisation.

In a post post released by the Dane, he mentioned that he is 'embarking on a new project' but didn't reveal what it was.

A crucial member of the storied-Astralis lineup, Xyp9x was regarded as one of the top support players during that time and played an important role in many of Astralis' triumphs. The Dane was also the MVP of IEM Katowice 2017.

Since Covid, once Astralis' form dipped so did Xyp9x and he was eventually benched early in 2023, following a prolonged period of poor performances.
