TheMongolz thrash GaiminGladiators
Starting on the T-side of Ancient, TheMongolz got off to a solid 6-0 start with Senzu and bLitz going ballistic early in the game. GG didn't let things get out of hand with a 5-rounds streak, salvaging a 5-7 half still in favor of TheMongolz.
GG's comeback hopes rested on a good start on their T-side but TheMongolz showed their CT-side prowess, closing out Ancient without dropping a single round. The 13-5 win put TheMongolz at a 1-0 advantage in the series.
The second map took us to Dust2, the newest addition to the map pool. GG took the pistol round but TheMongolz stole the anti-eco, shattering the T-side economy for GG, which was enough to fuel TheMongolz to a massive 10-2 first half. TheMongolz kept it clean and closed out Dust2 13-2, wrapping up the series 2-0.
TheMongolz will now face Aurora for a shot at the upper-bracket finals.
