Revenant bounces back in style
In the Group D Elimination match of CCT Season 2 Europe Series 6 Closed Qualifier, Revenant clashed against Australia Talent. The action began on Astralis Talent's map pick of Nuke, where they dominated on their T-side, securing 8 rounds in the half.
The holes in the defences of Revenant were exposed throughout the half, but when it came to them to find openings, the team struggled. Despite securing the pistol, they couldn't find any more success in the half, losing the map in a gut wrenching 13-5 scoreline.
Revenant punched back on their own map pick of Mirage, winning by a dominant 13-8 margin despite an even 6-6 half. Nivera stood head and shoulders above the rest, boasting a 107 ADR and a 1.58 rating.
The final map Anubis started off with a commanding lead for Revenant, as they stringed together 6-0 lead. While Astralis Talent managed to muster 4 rounds in the half, Revenant went 4 on a trot to conclude the map with a 13-6 win.
