Skyesports Souvenir 2023 runners-up still waiting for prize money
Following Dust2 India's report about Skyesports Masters 2023, a team Shush player has come forward and revealed that the team is yet to receive their runners-up prize money for the Skyesports Souvenir 2023.
The Skyesports Souvenir 2023 took place in September 2023 and was an online event which saw the then-Gods Reign roster, representing India take down Shush, who were representing the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the Grand Final. Gods Reign won a prize money of $2500 while Shush was supposed to take home $1000 for their second place finish.
Dust2 India also reached out to Skyesports for their statement on the matter and while Skyesports did not provide a statement during the time of publication, the team Shush player has revealed to Dust2 India that Skyesports had reached out to him on July 9, 2024 to discuss about the transaction.
The Shush player confirmed to Dust2 India that they team hadn't received the prize money as of the morning of July 10, 2024.
Dust2 India has received details from a Gods Reign player (who wished to remain anonymous) that their organisation has received the prize money and the players would be getting the amount soon.
