The trio unveil upcoming feature at Cologne

HLTV to introduce "Attributes" profile

The feature is set to represent play-styles better

In the latest iteration of HLTV Confirmed, Professeur brought up a new talking point in the beginning of the show. HLTV is now set to add a new feature to their abundant arsenal called "HLTV Attributes".

This new feature with major contributions from Harry "NER0" Richards is a style of presenting a player's play-style based on certain parameters rated on a scale of 0-100. While the feature is yet to be implemented, the trio of SPUNJ, Professeur and Striker gave us a first look into the feature with a few preset examples.

Head to head comparisons overview

Following are the parameters that are rated on a scale of 0-100 in the upcoming HLTV Attributes feature:

  • Firepower

  • Entrying

  • Trading

  • Opening

  • Clutching

  • Sniping

  • Utility

The feature is set to debut in a couple of weeks from now and a complete rundown of how the feature works is expected to come in the weeks to follow. In a snippet posted on X by HLTV Confirmed, Professeur also mentions that if a parameter is rated low for a player it doesn't necessarily mean that they are bad at it but more like they do it less often.

We've built this system (Harry mainly) to show the styles of a player, especially for a team or a player that you've never watched before and want to figure out, like "What the hell is this guy about?"
