Malaysia's pick of Inferno got things going as India started with the pistol and eco-conversion on the T side. 3nable stuck a smoke defuse in a 1v1 in the first gun round to deny Ph1NNN a 1v4 to get Malaysia on the board. Malaysia quickly took the lead at 4-2 before a B hit with pistols saw Bhavi win out a crucial 1v1 to let the Indian team back on the board. A couple of back-and-forth rounds with Ph1NNN leading the charge from the Indian team saw a tied opening half. Along with Ph1NNN, it was Bhavi's aggressive Banana hold and f1redup's crucial A-site holds which saw India take a 13-8 win.
Ancient started with Malaysia taking the T-sided pistol and a four-round streak before Bhavi and his boys got their defensive hold going. It was seven-straight for the Indian team before Malaysia managed to get a fifth in the final round of the half, which was dominated by Ph1NNN and f1redup. A Bhavi 1v3 on the A site, saw Team India secure the second half pistol. It was a convincing T side from the Indian squad with a Ph1NNN 1v2 on the B site putting them onto double digits and with Bhavi continuing his aggressive form, the Indian captain provided openers on both bombsites which helped India ease to a 13-7 win, closing out the map on a Tec-9 B hit.
Team India will be back in action tomorrow, with Bhavi and co. set to take on Mongolia in their second game.
