The MongolZ fight on at EPL S20
After dropping to the lower bracket, every game was an elimination match for the only remaining Asian team, The MongolZ. bLitz and co. faced 9z in the Group B 6th-7th place decider game as both teams were looking to avoid heading home.
9z's pick of Nuke kicked things off where The MongolZ fired up late on their CT half to take a two-round lead before the Senzu show helped them start the series with 13-10 win as Senzu went 28-14 with an ADR of 133. 910's AWP had early impact as The MongolZ started their pick of Ancient once again with a two round lead, this time starting on the T side. A max triple opener on the A site saw 9z pick up a much-needed second pistol and quickly ran to a 9-7 lead before Senzu and Techno powered up with 910 to help The MongolZ lock in a 13-10 win to take the series 2-0 and send 9z home.
The MongolZ will now take on the winner of the 3DMAX - Wildcard game in the 4th place decider tomorrow.
