M88 Open League S2 Round 5: Recap

Rough outing for Indian teams

Round 5 at the M88 Mansion Open League Season 2 saw most of the Indian teams participating have a rough day at the office. Victores Sumus, are the only Indian team from Group Stage 1 who are in contention for a Playoffs spot, sitting pretty at second place in the table while Gods Reign's latest forfeit, dropped them to #8. F4F in #11 are also in contention while Unity Gaming, Project Lethals and Red Commitee have a long road ahead.

F4F - 1plus4 (F4F) got a walkover

Project Lethals - DDBB (DDBB got a walkover)

Gods Reign - LM68 (With Gods Reign having ECL and eXTREMESLAND India qualifier games, Gods Reign FF'd their match)

Victores Sumus 2 - 13 Team ROG - Inferno

One of the better performing Indian teams in the event, Victores Sumus faced Team ROG in their BO1 game, which took place on Inferno. It was complete domination from Team ROG as the Indian team failed to get going, falling to a massive 2-13 loss.

Unity Gaming 5 - 13 HXG Esports - Anubis

Unity Gaming faced HXG Esports on Anubis and although they managed four rounds in the opening half, the Indian team had a rough second half, going down 5-13.
