IHC post dominant win against NOVA
Group A's second game at the MESA Asia Series witnessed a one-sided affair on Anubis as IHC steamrolled NOVA with a convincing 13-3 scoreline on their path to the upper bracket final. Despite NOVA securing the pistol and anti-eco to start the match on their CT-side, their success was short-lived as IHC bounced back with strong gun rounds.
IHC's dominant gun rounds proved too much for NOVA to handle, as they secured a commanding 9-3 lead in the first half. Their momentum continued into their CT-side, where they showcased a flawless defense to close out the map without dropping a single CT-round.
The duo of Zesta and ROUX led the charge for IHC with remarkable performances, both securing 21 kills each. Zesta posted a 2.31 rating with 130 ADR, while ROUX followed closely with a 2.05 rating and 134 ADR. In stark contrast, three of NOVA's players never really got going with just two of them reaching double figures.
With this win, IHC advance to face GR in the Group A upper bracket final of the MESA Asia Series and NOVA will battle it out against Chinggis Warriors in the lower bracket final, with their backs against elimination.
